Role description:
Arcadis seeks an engineering Senior Roadway CAD Designer to join our Florida Transportation team based in Tampa FL.
In this position you will utilize your wealth of experience with very detailed 3D modelling for DOT projects in the on a wide variety of urban and rural projects from concept development schematic development through final roadway plans.
Role accountabilities:
- Develop roadway plans utilizing Microstation Geopak and OpenRoads according to FDOT guidelines and standards.
- Perform transportation design and traffic engineering work relating to roadway design. Includes plan preparation drafting and quantity calculations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Geopak Microstation Corridor Modeling OpenRoads and 3-D design.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of relevant work experience
- Associates Degree or equivalent years (15) of work experience in appropriate area of design
- Proficient with CAD particularly Microstation Geopak and OpenRoads;
- Strong Office (Word Excel Powerpoint) skills.
- Familiarity with FDOT design standards specifications and policies.

- Be a self-motivated team-oriented and flexible individual who possess the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges.
- Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $126592 - $161405. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
