Senior Technical Lead role in the financial markets Fixed income Domain primarily providing techno functional support for the Fixed Income Rates desk and Credit desk who provides electronic Bonds pricing to external customers.
Strong product knowledge and customer focus is required for this role to join a specialised team of support analysts and engineers to support the Fixed income bonds pricing markets ensuring service availability and rapid response to Business-critical requests and queries for Sales and Traders across the FM business units both locally (Sydney) and internationally (New Zealand And London).
Key Focus for this role is around the timeliness of the business support as the team is engaged with critical functions such as assisting with resolution of customer transaction issues and bonds pricing issues.
What do I need
- Demonstrated experience in Linux / Unix at intermediate level ( Able to navigate to logs and investigate application issues independently if required on Linux boxes)
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL at intermediate level. ( Able to write basic to intermediate level select insert update queries and good understanding to debug the store procedures in SQL )
- Must have prior exposure to Service Management ITIL and Service now tools.
- Must have worked in any Investment Banking or Financial market products or platforms in the last 10 years with at least 3 years experience on FM.
- Knowledge on Fixed Income or ION Trading platform or FX is nice to have skill however it is not mandatory.
