Community Enrichment Youth Supervisor
Community & Aquatic Center
Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations
Schedule: 35 hours per week/52 weeks Supervisor
Salary: Commensurate with Supervisor Agreement
Anticipated Start Date: July 1 2025
Job Summary: Develop and coordinate community after school and summer classes and events for youth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of two years of experience in event planning community programming youth sports and enrichment or related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers required. Working knowledge of Windows based programs and Google (word processing spreadsheets and presentation software) required
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and establish positive relationships with colleagues school staff and the kids and families of FHPS
- Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and work well under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop coordinate and implement enrichment classes and events for youth throughout the school year and in the summer
- Hire supervise and evaluate instructors and coaches (both employee and contracted service) using District procedures
- Develop partnerships with community businesses for potential sponsorships of classes and/or events for youth
- Assist with development of the enrichment classes catalog and website including inputting classes into software system
- Market and educate parents and the community about classes and events for youth
- Monitor class/event registrations for youth
- Provide final class and/or event participant rosters to schools
- Respond to parent questions about classes and events for youth
- Utilize district procedures for building use when scheduling classes and events for youth
- Coordinate and staff three large events: a dance a cross country meet and a track meet that draws participants from 10 different schools
- Consistent and reliable punctuality and attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms climb or balance stoop kneel jump crouch or crawl talk hear (in a quiet or noisy environment). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and ability to adjust/focus. Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Work will be performed primarily indoors but may need to be outdoors occasionally.
Mental Functions:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to compare analyze communicate both orally and in writing copy coordinate instruct compute synthesize evaluate use interpersonal skills compile and negotiate.

In accordance with the Supervisor Agreement.

Manager
