Location: Raynham MA (Brand new office!)
Compensation: $80000 to $150000 per year DOE. A full benefits package is included.
Job Responsibilities: As an Electrical Estimator your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Creating accurate and complete quantity take-offs from scratch for commercial and industrial jobs of all sizes in a timely manner
- Inputting take-offs into an estimating format
- Collaborating with in-house engineering to develop plans and estimates for Design Build/Design Assist projects
- Drafting bid proposals for projects
- Monitoring competitor activities to maintain a proactive approach to future estimates
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current material and subcontractor pricing to ensure profitability and competitiveness
- Attending meetings with customers and Project Managers to discuss project details and expectations
- Negotiating with customers for the award of projects
- Providing upper management with reports on bids won/lost
- Meeting productivity goals for bids produced bids won and maintaining a minimal margin of error
Qualifications
We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels from senior estimators to those with little to no estimating experience. Key qualifications include:- A strong electrical background and thorough knowledge of electrical systems ideally with 5 years of experience
- Tech-savviness and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and processes (Bluebeam On-Screen Takeoff ConEst)
- Determination intelligence and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of estimating if not already experienced
