Job Description
We are hiring a highly capable Senior Analyst SCM (Stockyard) with 57 years of experience in supply chain and stockyard operations ideally in the steel construction or manufacturing sector. The role focuses on efficient stockyard management inventory accuracy dispatch coordination and system-driven reportingrequiring solid hands-on expertise in SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the stockyard including receipt storage and dispatch of materials.
Ensure real-time inventory accuracy using SAP and reconcile stock discrepancies through physical verification.
Coordinate with SCM logistics and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatches.
Monitor loading/unloading processes space utilization and material handling practices.
Analyze material movement and generate actionable MIS and reports to support decision-making.
Implement and follow safety protocols and compliance standards across yard operations.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize stockyard productivity and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Engineering or related field; PG in SCM preferred.
Minimum 57 years of experience in stockyard/warehouse operations with a focus on dispatch inventory control and vendor coordination.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM/WM/SD modules preferred).
Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent coordination problem-solving and communication skills.
Willing to be based at or regularly visit stockyard sites.
