Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct procedural tests on production product including incoming material needed to support customer need date
Responsible for understanding use of all test equipment test fixtures and procedures
Verify equipment calibration is compliant
Identify and communicate errors in procedures drawings bills of material and routers to the support teams (Quality Manufacturing Engineering)
Responsible for timely completion of documentation
Responsible for accurate timely entry of data into the ERP system
Responsible for maintaining high quality standards and workmanship
Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company
Maintain a safe working environment
Communicating special tooling needed to perform operation
Oral/Written Communication Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Records data
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to apply common sense in performing job
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and manuals
Ability to use basic high school math skills
Two year technician degree or equivalent
Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience handling fiber optic related product is preferred
Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a team environment.
Willing to work overtime on short notice to support the needs of the business
Ability to use test equipment needed to perform tasks. (Megohmmeters)
Ability to use optical test equipment
Able to read technical drawings specifications and procedures.
Computer Literate; Working knowledge of MSOffice programs i.e. Word Excel Outlook

Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
