We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to join our Stroke Research Group. The successful candidate will support ongoing and upcoming research projects related to stroke treatment.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Biotechnology Biomedical Sciences or similar.
- Masters Degree in Translational Biomedical Research or similar.
- Fluency in Spanish.
Desired:
- Specific training in Stroke Research.
- Fluency in Catalan and English.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 1 year of experience relevant to the position.
- Knowledge of ischemic stroke treatment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desired:
- Knowledge of data management and statistics.
- At least 1 published or submitted research paper/conference abstract.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Collect process and manage data from study participants.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date study documentation and databases.
- Ensure adherence to study protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians researchers and engineers.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of study procedures.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: July 2025.
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
