Job Summary : API Automation QA Engineer (Banking/Fintech Domain)
- Perform API automation testing (REST APIs) and web automation testing.
- Understand product requirements and maintain QA documentation.
- Write and validate SQL queries for database testing.
- Create review and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
- Identify and report data anomalies integration issues and backend failures.
- Collaborate closely with developers product and business teams.
- Conduct automated evaluations using NLP-based metrics (e.g. Similarity matrix BLEU score Perplexity).
- Utilize API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Apply knowledge of SDLC STLC and defect lifecycle in testing processes.
- Leverage experience in the Banking/Fintech domain for domain-specific QA.
- (Good-to-have) Use Python for basic scripting or automation support.
- (Good-to-have) Familiarity or interest in GenAI/AI/ML testing frameworks and evaluation metrics.
- Demonstrate curiosity attention to detail and a proactive approach to modern QA methodologies.
