Position: EPC Landslide Engineer
Location: Remote in Toronto Canada.
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
The project involves providing technical on-site support for 5G LTE and IMS at a wireless operator account/MSO. The role focuses on creating running and debugging Landslide EPC and WiFi test cases for the customer ensuring network implementation and testing activities through customer network acceptance.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical on-site support for 5G LTE and IMS
Serve as the technical liaison on client responses to customer technical issues and questions
Create run and debug Landslide EPC and WiFi test cases
Remain active in network implementation and testing activities
Provide a consistent interface to the customer for all aspects of technical and engineering activity
Mandatory Skills:
Intermediate level hands-on Landslide knowledge
Experience with LTE packet core and 5G packet core
VoLTE Call flow knowledge
Knowledge of 3GPP and 3GPP2 network architectures
Experience with wireless protocols such as PPP IPv4 IPv6 and GTP
Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with a track record for completing projects on time
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Carrier/Commercial Wi-Fi
Knowledge of IMS functional elements and technologies
Experience with installation testing and development of IP-based applications
Experience interfacing with wireless operators and network equipment vendors
Masters degree with a technology focus
