QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at Insights youll be part of a multidisciplinary delivery squad working closely with developers designers and product managers to build new experiences and improve existing products. Youll play a key role in embedding quality practices across the software development lifecycle from test automation to exploratory testing and release validation. 

We build our systems on a modern cloud-based stack (AWS) follow agile methodologies and use CI/CD pipelines to support regular releases. Our QA team supports both functional testing and broader quality engineering goals ensuring our solutions are robust scalable and deliver great user experiences. 

What youll be doing 

• Collaborating with your squad to ensure features are well-designed testable and deliver value 

• Applying your experience in test automation to reduce manual testing and increase reliability 

• Creating maintaining and executing test plans for web applications and APIs 

• Actively participating in refinement sessions daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives 

• Sharing QA expertise within your squad and the broader QA guild 

• Contributing to the evolution of our quality engineering practices and processes 

• Taking part in 3rd-line support and helping resolve production issues 

• Owning your work and taking pride in building things right the first time 

Qualifications :

What were looking for 

• Strong experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright Selenium Puppeteer) 

• Experience with Java or other object-oriented languages 

• Experience testing RESTful APIs 

• An understanding of modern development workflows including version control (e.g. Git) CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies 

• A mindset focused on quality curiosity and continuous improvement 

• A passion for delivering robust and scalable software solutions 

• Experience testing across multiple browsers devices and platforms 

• Strong collaboration and communication skills-you enjoy working in a team and sharing knowledge
