Job Description
Location: Winchester Massachusetts 01890
Weekly Pay rate: $2520 - $2664
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Schedule: Rotating weekends & holidays
Position Type: Travel/Contract
Start Date: 06/23/2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor delivery and immediate postpartum.
- Monitor maternal vital signs fetal heart tones and labor progression.
- Administer medications including induction agents and epidurals and assist during obstetric emergencies.
- Prepare for and assist with both vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Support patients and families through education and reassurance.
- Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in an acute care setting
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- Demonstrated knowledge of fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency procedures
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification a plus
- Prior experience in high-acuity Labor & Delivery units is an asset

- Local candidates will not be considered (must reside at least 50 miles outside Winchester MA)
