Our clients in Darwin NT reputable mid-tier accounting firms are currently seeking experienced Senior External Auditors to join their teams. One opportunity is a contract role until November 2025 covering maternity leave with potential to extend or become permanent. The other is a permanent position offering long-term career growth client-facing responsibilities and sponsorship opportunities. Our client is a reputable mid-tier accounting firm based in Darwin known for delivering high-quality audit and advisory services to a diverse client base. They are seeking an experienced Senior External Auditor to fill a maternity leave position from now until November 2025. This contract may be extended or it could turn into a permanent job.
This is a client-facing role with senior responsibilities that requires you to hit the ground running.
Duties and responsibilities include working in a team on larger audits and running smaller full cycle audits independently and with a small team.
The ideal candidate will have 4 years Australian External Audit experience in a 1st or mid-tier firm be CA or CPA qualified and preferably be a Darwin-based Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Candidates with 2-3 years Australian audit experience and 3 years overseas external audit experience will also be considered.
Sponsorship may be offered after a qualifying period of 6 months to those with full-time working rights and at least 12 months remaining on their visa.

They are seeking an experienced External Auditor to join their growing team in a client-facing role with responsibilities including staff supervision training and working beyond compliance on complex client groups across tax business services and advisory.
The ideal candidate will have 4 years Australian External Audit experience in a 1st or mid-tier firm be CA or CPA qualified and preferably be a Darwin-based Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Candidates with 2-3 years Australian audit experience and 3 years overseas external audit experience will also be considered. Sponsorship may be offered after a qualifying period of 12 month to those with full-time work rights and at least 12 months remaining on their visa.
