Job Description
Facility: Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital
Address: 1500 E Sherman Blvd Muskegon MI 49444
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Pay Rate: $52/hr (W2) $55/hr (1099)
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment is sterile and available
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Handle instruments and supplies during procedures
- Support room turnover and post-operative clean-up
- Maintain compliance with infection control safety and regulatory standards
- Shift: 6:45 AM 5:15 PM
- On-Call: 2 4 hours/month after a worked shift
- Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift per contract
- Certifications Required:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Current CST certification and BLS (American Heart Association)
- Prior experience in hospital-based surgical services
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical procedures
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to function in a high-stress environment with critical attention to detail
