Job Summary:
Take the lead in managing partnerships with major sports organizations and athletes throughout Malaysia. This role is centered on executing strategic marketing efforts cultivating meaningful relationships and delivering outstanding partnership support to enhance brand impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for selected sports federations and athletes ensuring their goals align with the company s branding and strategic objectives.
- Develop a thorough understanding of partner needs to identify collaborative opportunities that benefit both sides.
- Maintain consistent open communication with external partners and internal teams to strengthen and sustain long-term partnerships.
- Manage daily interactions with sports agencies and athletes to ensure activities support overall marketing and partnership goals.
- Establish clear expectations review deliverables and evaluate performance to uphold high standards.
- Assess agency and talent proposals budgets and reports to ensure responsible resource management.
- Collaborate with agencies to recruit athletes or work directly with them to build brand engagement and visibility.
- Lead the planning and rollout of sports-focused marketing campaigns brand activations and product launches beyond formal partnership agreements.
- Oversee daily operations related to sports marketing to ensure alignment with overall brand and sales strategies.
- Partner with agencies and athletes to create compelling content that highlights key collaborations.
- Implement communication plans that maximize the reach of sports campaigns across various platforms.
- Monitor performance of athlete-generated content and adjust strategies to enhance effectiveness.
- Create and execute focused campaigns to promote partnerships with sports federations and athletes through digital media social platforms and partner networks.
- Provide creative guidelines to ensure consistency in all partnership-related content.
- Analyze campaign results and use insights to continuously improve communication strategies and marketing outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to align messaging and campaign objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between local markets and internal departments to ensure seamless implementation of partnership initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in sports marketing or partnership management preferably involving sports federations or related organizations.
- Prior experience in the sports retail sector is a strong advantage.
- A genuine passion for sports and solid knowledge of the Malaysian sports landscape.
- Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic fast-paced environment.
