Job Description
- Effectively use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design various project features.
- Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
- Assist in preparation of reports specifications plan creation and permit applications.
- Interface with CAD designers and coordinate with other engineering departments on complex multi-discipline projects.
- Assist in client contact and communications.
- May include onsite construction observation duties.
Likely project areas include water resources design projects including drainage stormwater flood control levee/floodwall hydraulic structures and similar projects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering or related Engineering field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with design team and clients.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
- Solid communication and critical thinking skills along with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude under pressure strong team player responsible and self-motivated.
- Valid Drivers License and in good standing with periodic travel necessary.
