Job Description
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Availability for shift duty (as may be required).
- Physically capable of performing manual labor.
- The ability to obtain a knowledge of water utility regulations and sampling procedures.
- Record and maintain statistical operating records and water quality data.
- Schedule and collect samples as required by water quality regulations customer requests or company requirements.
- Address water quality complaints.
Qualifications :
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Possess a general knowledge of operations.
- Ability to be contacted by phone and available for any and all emergencies.
- Working knowledge of mathematics.
- Have the ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
- Have the ability to legibly draw and write.
- Ability to operate Companys SCADA system.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
- Must possess a valid driver license at all times.
- Must have applicable NYS Operator Grade II or higher License or ability to obtain the same.
Additional Information :
Pay Rate: $38.59 per hour.
