The Flight Operations team is seeking a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and project delivery. As Senior Manager Operational Performance youll play a key role in shaping and executing our strategic direction while driving measurable performance outcomes.

In this critical leadership role you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Flight Operations strategy identifying key strategic issues and opportunities and driving business performance aligned to the Groups priorities. You will lead the implementation and tracking of metrics and KPIs ensuring Flight Operations delivers against its strategic objectives efficiently and effectively.

Role and Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and solve critical operational challenges within Flight Operations
  • Leverage data to uncover insights and drive performance improvement
  • Manage key Flight Operations projects from planning through to execution
  • Facilitate and run governance meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Apply robust project management methodologies and develop governance frameworks
  • Oversee programs ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and on budget
  • Manage risks and track readiness activities across multiple initiatives
  • Drive KPIs aligned with Flight Operations strategic objectives
  • Act as a key connection point between Flight Operations and other business units
  • Influence collaborate and foster integration across teams to ensure shared success

Youll have:

  • Strong stakeholder management with strong negotiation and influencing skills to effectively address all levels of stakeholders in challenging situations
  • Previous experience in operational performance analysis used to develop improvement initiatives and project management in a complex environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation
  • Ideally a relevant tertiary qualification in the areas of Business Management or Project Management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change
