Job Description
8 years managing software operations in a critical highly available enterprise environment 24x7.
3 years in Team leader / people management position.
Qualification
A Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
A certification regarding relational database(s) and / or programming would be a plus.
Know how / skills
Multi-year experience with people management.
Field experience in supporting critical production workloads.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban SAFe).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive mindset in mitigating / avoiding foreseeable issues.
Ability to collaborate with other DBaaS leaders and management counterparts demonstrate high level of autonomy.
Ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments.
Experience with Oracle database technologies 19c 23ai) in Linux environment.
Experience with MySQL 8.0 would be a plus.
Experience with database automation (Ansible Python shell etc. would be a plus.
Microsoft Azure experience and / or certification would be a plus.
