Position Summary:
We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.
As our Manager Infection Prevention at California Hospital Medical Center youll coordinate all infection prevention related activities associated with surveillance performance improvement and education which are intended to ensure that the facilitys patients personnel & visitors will be protected from transmission of diseases & infection within the facilitys environment as identified in the core competency model by the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC).
To thrive in this role you must be competent and confident. Utilizing your expertise and excellent communication skills you will work in collaboration with Hospital Administration to develop and manage an Infection Prevention Program that incorporates essential facility strategic plan elements that align with the goals objectives and risk assessments of the Program. You will tackle tough conversations one-on-one and in front of groups and above all be an educator at heart. Every interaction is an opportunity to share your knowledge with others and improve their understanding of infection prevention and control patient and staff needs and the needs of the organization.
