As a Correctional Medical Director you will be responsible for ensuring all clinical needs are being met within the facility while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals.
The Medical Director is responsible for providing direct and indirect basic medical care to meet the physiological and emotional needs of the patients and ensuring quality care is provided to protect the rights dignity and health of our unique patient population. Responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Education / Licenses / Certifications
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications / Skills
Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds) bend squat reach push pull walk significant distances and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
