The Electro Mechanical Technician 3 is an essential role within our organization primarily responsible for designing testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits used for the control of machines and equipment. Skills

  • Ability to design minor electrical circuits and troubleshoot electrical PLC and electronic circuits
  • Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
  • Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs
  • Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform the tasks

Responsibilities

  • Design and test electrical circuits
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Install electrical and electronic controls by interpreting schematics
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs and ensure equipment performance
  • Dismantle and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts
  • Interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions
  • Assemble install and adjust electrical fixtures and equipment
  • Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader

Qualifications

  • Two-year Associate degree
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
