Associate Product Development Woven Tops/OW
What will you do
A day in the life of an Associate Product Development for Woven Tops & OW at Dickies looks a little like this.
The Associate Product Developer for Woven Tops & Outerwear is responsible for assisting the product development team achieve critical path (end-to-end process) develop seasonal lines to ensure on-time execution against line plan and Woven Tops & Outerwear product strategies. Participates in cross-functional work streams Adheres to development calendar dates to ensure on-time completion.
Lets break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Assist product development in Woven Tops & OW with fabric trim color and wash development and ensure all tech packs are completed accurately/on-time.
Assist in maintaining the development calendar and increase organization and visibility for the entire product life cycle.
Track the fitting of garments and reviews product details to ensure product execution meets the design aesthetic as well as the quality standards.
Ensure all materials and construction details from tech packs are 100% accurate before submitting to factory and ensuring that they meet cost guidelines to maintain margin goals.
Manage the Timing & Action calendar to ensure on time delivery of all products perform daily administrative duties in Product Development flagging any urgent issues to the appropriate cross functional team.
Troubleshoot and problem solve cross-functionally to ensure all deliveries are met per Merchants strategies during the development phase for the product.
Manage all sample requests and ensuring on time delivery of samples.
Assist with development of product and materials to meet Design vision merchandising requirements and company goals.
Maintain production trim card approvals for product category.
Ensure all PLM entries are updated and accurate for all products within the category.
Troubleshoot and problem solve cross-functionally to ensure all deliverables are met.

What do you need to succeed

Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 1-3 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
1-3 years of product development and/or sourcing is preferred with working knowledge of garment construction fit fabric and finish development
Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising Business or related area preferred or equivalent work experience
Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary.
Strong analytical verbal and written communication skills promotes spirit of collaboration and teamwork
Ability to work in an open environment with product team and cross-functional partners

$55296.00 USD - $69120.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential.
