We are looking for a Sector Sales Specialist Data Centre who will be responsible for Business Development and growth of the Data Centre sector across across India with particular focus on the western region.

What youll do:

  • Identify acquire develop and support Aggrekos data centre customers.

  • Create and implement a business plan to develop our data centre sector.

  • Identify additionalvaluepropositionsfor our existing data centre customers by working closely with the existingaccountsalesteam.

  • Formulateagreeand implementsales and marketingstrategies forthe sector by working closely withtheIndia DC sector lead.

  • Meet customers expectations by working with our engineeringsupportteam to scope andpriceprojects and smoothly handover toour operations team to deliver.

  • Increase awareness of Aggreko as an industry leader.

Youll have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelors degree Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience in the field.

  • Minimum 12 years of successful high-level sales experience in the industrial services environment.

  • An understanding of the data centre sector including some of the technical fundamentals and organisational processes.

  • Solution selling to data centre customers. Or experience of selling (or renting) capital equipment or selling a technical or engineering solution or service.

  • Experience in effectively managing and expanding territories indicating strategic planning and execution abilities.

  • A general understanding of power generators diesel engines HVAC / temperature control equipment testing levels in data centres contributing to informed sales discussions.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce so we can manage customer contacts efficiently and track all our sales opportunities.

  • Financial and commercial awareness to make sure our growth is sustainable and profitable.
