JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
Operates diagnostic equipment and Performs a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures related to CT. Provides patient orientation procedure explanation and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patient calibration of equipment and documentation of findings with the direction of the imaging supervisor/manager. Assists patients with basic patient care needs.

Required Education and Experience
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
Required Licensure and Certifications
BLS required upon hire. Please refer to policy Licensed Certified and Registered Employees for acceptable Life Support cards. (BLS-CPR)
ARRT Board Certified in Radiology (RTR)
Must hold a valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license in Nebraska or Iowa depending on work state. (MRAD:NE or MRAD:IA)
ARRT Board Certified in CT within 2 years of hire (RTCT -24mths)
