Children and Young Peoples Disability Team - Transforming Young Lives
Our vibrant Children and Young People Disability team within our Outstanding Childrens services is on the lookout for a passionate Family Key Worker.
Were searching for someone who is excited to contribute to our innovative service where children young people and families are placed at the forefront of our mission.
As a Family Key Workeryou willhave a varied role in supporting children and their families. This might for example include implementing a communication system supporting withmealtime and bedtimeroutines and advising on safety in the presence will also offer direct support to Social Workersand Occupational Therapistswhen needed.
To excel in this role you should have an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification a deep understanding of child protection policies and working with children and families where disability is present a commitment to safeguarding children young people and vulnerable adults. Proven experience working with vulnerable children strong knowledge of child development and a drive to improve outcomes for children and families are essential.
