A well-established and ambitious business based near Driffield is looking to appoint a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a dynamic hands-on role offering a competitive salary of 50000 - 55000 plus a strong benefits package.
As the Finance Manager you will:
Oversee the full month-end process across multiple entities including accruals prepayments and preparation of statutory accounts
Lead budgeting forecasting and cashflow reporting consolidating Group-wide data and presenting insights to the board
Drive continuous improvement across accounting practices and ensure efficient compliant financial operations
Manage audits HMRC processes payroll VAT and the payment cycle while monitoring debtors and creditors
Supervise an Accounts Assistant and support wider team development
Monitor stock levels and provide monthly reports within a manufacturing environment
Manage multiple bank accounts and deliver ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making
To be successful in this Finance Manager role you will ideally have:
A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a broad financial management role ideally across multiple companies
Strong Excel and accounting system skills
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and solution-focused approach
Confident communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
