The successful candidate will deliver a full spectrum of HR deliverables that align with the businesss strategic goals. You will have experience working with HR systems confidential employee data and strong project management skills. Ideally the People Specialist will have a strong desire to grow into a global People (HR) Business Partner in a high growth fast-paced environment. The role will provide a broad exposure to the different facets of the People Business Partner function and offers the opportunity to take on challenges while accelerating your learning. They are curious hungry and engaged willing to jump in to solve problems and make data-driven decisions even when things feel very ambiguous. About the role
Roku is in growth mode and we are investing in building out a world-class people organization. As part of that effort we are looking to hire a People Business Partner to serve as a strategic people advisor for Rokus Media teams. This role will partner with leaders front line managers and employees seeking guidance on a diverse range of topics. The successful candidate will deliver a full spectrum of people (HR) deliverables that align with the businesses strategic goals. This role will provide sound guidance across all functional areas of Human Resources with an emphasis on performance management change management and organizational development.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $140000 and $175000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set certifications and specific geographical location.

What youll be doing
- Collaborate with Media leadership team specifically within the advertising organization - to understand their talent needs and develop effective people strategies to support business goals
- Provide guidance and support on HR policies procedures and best practices ensuring compliance with relevant laws statutory obligations and regulations
- Partner with the talent acquisition team to attract onboard and retain top talent including participating in interviews and selection processes when necessary
- Advise and coach managers on performance management employee relations and conflict resolution promoting a culture of continuous feedback and development
- Lead initiatives related to employee engagement diversity and inclusion learning and development and organizational culture enhancement
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends address issues proactively and drive informed decision-making
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees providing guidance on career development professional growth and work-life balance
- Support organizational change management initiatives including restructuring mergers and acquisitions and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives contributing to the overall success of the HR function
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the organization
Were excited if you have
- Bachelors degree in human resources business administration communications or related field; Masters degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in HR roles preferably in media with a focus on business partnership and strategic HR initiatives within advertising or revenue generating organizations
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
