Job Description

Squarespace is looking for a strategic Senior Manager of FP&A to lead forecasting and analytics for our Websites and Commerce business lines. In this high-impact role youll own topline forecast modelsrevenue bookings subscribers and deliver critical insights that guide decision-making and performance across the business. You will lead a team develop scalable processes and act as a thought partner to stakeholders across our Websites and Commerce business areas. Your team will be the go-to resource for topline actuals analysis and forward-looking projections in your areas of ownership.

We are looking for a strong people leader who combines deep analytical expertise with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be adept at building and interpreting complex financial models and confident presenting insight to senior leadership to drive alignment and business outcomes. You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment learns quickly and is eager to make an immediate impact.

You will work across routine operations strategic planning and special projects - connecting the dots to surface valuable insights that shape our growth strategy. Success in this role also depends on your ability to build strong trusted relationships across Product Marketing and Commerce and to clearly communicate financial information to diverse audiences.

Youll work hybrid from our NYC Headquarters and report to the Director FP&A Revenue.

Youll Get To

  • Lead the monthly/quarterly revenue forecasting & reporting processes preparing executive-level presentations analyzing results and building forward looking business trends & insights.
  • Drive the annual planning cycle working cross-functionally to align on strategic initiatives growth levers and revenue drivers.
  • Manage mentor and develop a team of FP&A professionals fostering growth and high performance.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders and teams delivering data-driven recommendations and insights that drive performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Build and refine scalable dynamic forecasting models to improve accuracy and enable scenario planning.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to streamline reporting and FP&A support.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional initiatives aligning finance priorities with broader company goals & objectives.

Who Were Looking For

  • 10 years of experience in FP&A with significant focus on topline forecasting and performance management
  • 5 years of people management experience with demonstrated ability to coach develop and leaf high-performing teams
  • Proven experience delivering financial insights and strategic recommendations to executives and senior-level cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical with exceptional financial modeling skills and the ability to synthesize data into clear narratives and decision-driving results.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity ownership mentalityand a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail orientated yet capable of distilling complex analyses into clear executive-level communications.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with a track record of initiating and leading complex projects.

Cash Compensation Range: $178500 - $287500 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills experience and location among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and where applicable for eligible roles may include on-target commissions or overtime pay) Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
