Job Description
Position Title:
Part-Time Faculty History
Department/School:
School of Liberal Arts
Salary/Pay Rate:
$1250 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist University. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online graduate music or lab courses.
Job Summary:
The History Department is looking for qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach courses including Digital Humanities for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters Degree in History or a closely related field Doctorate or ABD preferred. Previous successful collegiate teaching experience required.
Essential Functions:
Successful candidates may teach three to nine credits hours and assist students as needed. Teaching may occur in the Fall Winter Spring or Summer semesters.

About the Department/School:
The History Department includes 10 faculty members and offers a BA in history as well as a BA in history with a public history concentration. The History Department is housed in the School of Liberal Arts with other departments such as English Modern Languages Philosophy & Religious Studies and Political Science.
