Job Description
Wroclaw Aircraft Maintenance Services is providing base maintenance of Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Ryanair Europe biggest highly trained and dedicated engineers are the driving force behind our industry leading safety record. Across out network our skilled engineers conduct extensive checks on individual aircraft system structures and components to ensure that all our aircraft continue to operate with the utmost efficiency and take our customers to their destinations on time.
A new exciting opportunity has arisen within the Wroclaw Aircraft Maintenance Services. We are looking to hire an Strucutres Workshop Shift Supervisor in our hangar in Wroclaw. Responsibilities on this position are:
- Supervise & organise manpower and planning
- Organise and evaluate repairs
- Allocation and prioritisation of tasks and management of technical jobs
- Ordering & progressing spares
- Ensuring documentation is completed correctly in accordance with maintenance and company procedures
- Ensuring that company regulations and policies are enforced
- Ensuring the work area and environment are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Developing skills of all staff including apprentices and trainee mechanics
- Assist with & carry out structural repairs
- Any additional tasks allocated by management
Requirements
- SRM structural repair experience essential
- MRO structural repair workshop/hangar environment preferred
- Experience with inspecting components & compiling work packs
- Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval
- Previous experience of supervising / managing manpower is essential
- Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential
- Willing to work shifts (including nights)
- Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment
