POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager WorkBC Centre (Catchment Manager) runs the daily operations of the WorkBC Employment Services Centre delivers services as per contractual obligations to achieve program objectives and financial targets. The Manager provides staff supervision and training tracks and monitors finances ensures program policies are adhered to maintains data quality grows partnerships in the community and evaluates operational performance to ensure that it addresses the needs of the agency and clients and the requirements of funders.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret WorkBC program policies accurately and provide training to junior staff in policy interpretation
- Connect policy understanding with strategies and processes that lead to improved client success achieving program KPMs and contractual outcomes
- Act as the Site Manager for the premise occupied by the WorkBC Program activities include liaising with MOSAICs facility manager to maintain highest level of a healthy and safe environment for staff and clients
- Establish maintain and update systems to regularly monitor and meet program targets that are compatible with departmental systems
- Work on continuous quality improvement to meet contract and agency objectives
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with multiple relevant stakeholders involved in the WorkBC Program including the funder representative service delivery partners community organizations surrounding the WorkBC Centre and local employers/Boards of Trade.
- Participate/lead team and relevant community meetings
- Develop a variety of funding-related documents including contributing to proposals for program renewals new programs budgets and letters of intent
- Provide financial management for the WorkBC Employment Services Centre including activities such as developing cash flow revenue projection and expenditure monitoring
- Establish systematic data collection
- Present and analyze data and provide recommendations for improvements
- Hire/retain train supervise and evaluate WorkBC Centre staff
- Ensure completion of performance evaluations and review and update of job descriptions for staff annually
- Develop and support staff to reach their potential
- Ensure implementation of MOSAICs policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree diploma or certificate in a relevant field (e.g. career or employment development vocational rehabilitation social work psychology sociology human services counselling education or human resources management business development and project management) or a combination of training and experience related to delivering employment services
- Three to five years of recent related experience in delivering government-funded programs including writing and coordinating funding proposals developing and monitoring budgets managing human resources and community partnerships.

HOURS:
full-time position (35 hours per week). The occasional work on Saturdays may be required (every 1-2 months).
The successful candidate must be able to commute to our South Surrey-White Rock WorkBC Centre location at 108-St Surrey BC V4A 4N2. This position will be permitted to work from home one day per week four days from the office.
COMPENSATION: $74984.00 - $76965.72 annual salary
BENEFITS:
A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
