Job Description
- Adapt lessons and materials to suit diverse learning needs and IEP goals.
- Create a structured and inclusive classroom that encourages positive behavior and active learning.
- Deliver focused instruction in academic areas while fostering essential social-emotional and life skills.
- Use data to track student outcomes and refine teaching strategies to support continued development.
- Build strong relationships with families by maintaining regular communication and sharing student progress.
- Promote student engagement independence and inclusion through thoughtful and individualized teaching methods.
Requirements
- Experience in special education settings is preferred.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
