Hiring Now: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)School Year
We re seeking dedicated and qualified educators for an exciting full-time opportunity to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This role will span multiple grade levels and focus on delivering accessible individualized instruction that promotes academic growth and meaningful communication.
As a DHH teacher you ll adapt curriculum materials and instructional methods to align with students unique auditory and communication needs. You ll monitor student progress through regular assessments and adjust your strategies to ensure success. This position includes direct instruction in one-on-one and small group settings as well as consultation with fellow teachers to implement effective support strategies. You ll lead the creation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and work closely with families and school teams to foster an inclusive supportive environment for learners.

Requirements
Applicants must hold a bachelor s degree in Deaf Education Special Education or a related discipline along with a valid Georgia Professional Educator License (PEL) that includes a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly preferred and strong communication skills are essential. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting DHH students in school environments a working knowledge of the IEP process and a commitment to providing meaningful accommodations and instructional supports.
