Job Description
As a Banking Officer your responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely management of banking/accounts receivable operations and contribute to financial reporting for designated business areas.
Key responsibilities will also include:
- Collaborate with stores and other teams to provide procedural guidance support and assistance to resolve any store variances or banking related queries.
- Perform daily banking allocations and monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Complete agency reconciliation & weekly payments
- Monitor accounts receivable/banking mailbox and respond to queries
- Identify and contribute to improvements to banking and operational processes when required
- Contribute to and undertake business related projects and other ad hoc tasks when required
Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience in a banking accounts receivable or similar related role
- Completion of VCE or equivalent
- D365 Dynamics or other large accounting systems
- Strong administrative organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Retail experience is preferred not essential
