Job Description
Plastic Extrusion Operator - Elkhart IN
2nd Shift 3:00pm-1:00am
$16-$18 Based on experience
Job Duties:
- Set up operate and troubleshoot plastic extrusion equipment.
- Monitor machine parameters and adjust settings for optimal performance.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams for machine setup.
- Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
- Document production data and report any issues or deviations.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and or move up to 25lbs. throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
- Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
