Job Description
Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:
- Design implement and maintain network infrastructure to support business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise in networking technologies and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure high availability reliability and security of the network operating environment.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide escalated support.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend network enhancements.
- Deliver high-quality network services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Optimise network performance and scalability
- Document configurations and procedures.
- Transition technologies from delivery to operations.
Qualifications :
Now lets talk about you:
- 5 years experience in network engineering roles
- Expertise across multiple networking technologies - Cisco Fortinet Juniper
- Experience and thorough understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes such as change management incident management configuration management.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols -TCP/IP WiFI WAN LAN and Routing protocols
- Experience with network security measures (firewalls IDS/IPS).
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
