This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visas for this opportunity.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Assist in the preparation of computer input alterations and modifications based on information derived from initial raw data analysis.
- Assist in the modification of existing non-complex computer programs.
- Update and maintain various databases as required.
- Apply Quality Assurance concepts in the review of documents and drawings.
- Participation on project teams
- Communicate to responsible project manager nature and status of work projects.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate you will bring the following to the team:
- Associates Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Nuclear or Chemical)
- -OR- a Bachelors Degree in non-Engineering technical Discipline
- GPA 3.0 or Above
- Database management and data analysis skills
- Software programming and code development
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to independently establish and implement personal goals and action plans
- Ability to work seamlessly with global team through various communication styles (email phone Microsoft Teams etc.)
