Job Description:
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Lead across sub-process like funding and inspections to meet the deliverable requirements while following lending policies procedures and applicable laws
- Promote accountability through scorecards setting proper goals and objectives for high standards and continuous improvement.
- Mentor/train new team members
- Conduct regular meetings with team for informational transparency and ongoing training.
- Participate in LOB meetings sharing information and collaborating across the BU.
- Review inspection results and ensures compliance with draw requests; update proprietary construction management software with current status outstanding support documentation and customer service notes.
- Review underwriting materials with the Underwriting functions to assess viability of both Proposed Contractors and Projects
- Oversee draw status notifications for primary contact and monitor service level agreements to ensure contractual turn times are met.
- Oversee analysis on proposed construction projects and review Contractor qualifications.
- Receive escalations by telephone or email and provide resolution or ascertain who can best provide the resolution and route the matter appropriately.
- Monitor the status of draws through internal software systems and work with the customer service team lead to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
- Assure the daily ordering of residential and commercial inspections.
- Assure the review update and balance of budgets when new information is provided and revised accordingly. Assure acceptable levels of data integrity and quality.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external clients to ensure the efficient flow of work in the department.
- Basic supervisory duties.
- Stay atop of reporting needs within the department.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
WHAT ABOUT YOU You have...
- Experience with construction management appraisals underwriting.
- Min 6 months of recent underwriting experience
- The highest level of customer service and communication skills to work with teams across the globe.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are extremely organized and have great problem-solving skills.
