Job Description
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is currently seeking fora Non-Inventory Control Lead at our fulfillment center in Mount Juliet TN! The Non-Inventory Control Lead will help coordinate our non-inventory functions within the building along with the FC Buyer. This position will work directly with our Buyer and Inbound Operations to administer the flow of non-inventory goods coming into the FC.
What youll do:
- Ensure all Non-Inventory deliveries are accurately received unloaded and delivered to the accurate staging location or department that placed the request
- Inspect quality & count of incoming supplies against BOL/Packing Slip for accuracy
- Lead all aspects of organization of supplies to both Outbound & Inbound departments
- Set up operations for success by placing & positioning supplies in appropriate areas and positions
- Assist in researching missing or damaged non-inventory supplies
- Electronically close POs following confirmation of deliveries using Procurify/ERP
- Serve as backup for daily supply counts
- Assist when needed with pallet collection & placement on accurate trailers
- When needed aid in maintaining general housekeeping throughout the warehouse
- All other functions as deemed vital
What youll need:
- Knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office and Web Browsers
- PIT certified- Dock Stocker & Reach Truck required others as needed/wanted
- Basic understanding of Chewy boxes BOLs loading and unloading of trailers
- TSR certified
- Ability to multitask
- High level of integrity and ethics
- Numbers Oriented
