As a dynamic Software Engineer II you will join our innovative team focused on building cutting-edge software solutions for the operating room (OR) environment. You will design develop and enhance software applications for streaming encoding/decoding and AV control systems all while adhering to FDA and internal regulations. This is a hands-on development role with a high degree of ownership contributing directly to mission-critical product releases.
What you will be doing:
- Design and develop scalable software using Angular .NET C# SQL Server and Web APIs.
- Translate product requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
- Own the full software development lifecycle including design implementation testing and deployment.
- Collaborate in SCRUM/Agile environments; contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Ensure software performance usability and maintainability meet high standards.
- Coordinate compliance initiatives with regulatory and product strategy teams.
- Support system installations and resolve technical issues in real-time deployment scenarios.
What you bring:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
- 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Angular C# .NET SQL Server JavaScript Web API NodeJS.
- Experience developing GUI components and enterprise-level applications.
- Strong understanding of video/media formats and system configurations.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred:
- Masters degree or higher in a technical field.
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes shell scripts or Linux systems.
- Background in security testing and working within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with networking and AV system integration.
