Responsibilities
In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center healthcare philosophy the Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services to patients in their place of residence under physicians orders: to evaluate the home for safety to assess the functional needs of physically disabled patients develop treatment goals plan and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing a variety of occupational therapy treatment procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year experience as an occupational therapist required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy required.
- Occupational Therapy OT License
- CPR - BLS.
- CA Drivers License.
- Auto Insurance.
- Ability to function independently and autonomously ability to operate and demonstrate the use of equipment for occupational therapy care and
ability to teach and instruct patients caregivers and staff required. - Knowledge and ability to perform an Occupational Therapy assessment and knowledge of principles concepts modalities and methodology
required of an Occupational Therapist required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years previous experience as an occupational therapist preferred but not required
- Previous hand therapy experience preferred but not required.
- Previous home care experience.
- Second language skills in Spanish.
