Could you be the full-time Train Control Engineer in our dynamic team
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your multifaceted expertise in Train Control & Information Systems (TC&IS) to our innovative projects. Youll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
Youll be instrumental in managing the development of TC&IS deliverables from conception to warranty completion. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Project Engineering Train System Engineering Quality Assurance) overseeing the design process and much more.
Youll specifically take care of validating development plans achieving software quality requirements and ensuring the quality of various project domains. But also you will be responsible for managing design planning and conducting Design/Verification reviews.
Well look to you for:
Validating TC&IS Development Configuration Validation and Management Plan application
Achieving specified software quality requirements and informing team members of associated responsibilities
Ensuring quality across all domains of your project (Schematic Apparatus Software etc.)
Delivering TC&IS Engineering outputs in line with Engineering Quality Cost Delay commitments
Managing interfaces and follow-ups of sub-systems
Supporting Industrial and Manufacturing areas during First Train Assembly
Supporting Commissioning and Validation area during First Train tests

Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field
Experience or understanding of rolling stock functional engineering across various train functions
Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces for industrial communication networks
Familiarity with model-based control systems and application tools like Control Build Matlab/Simulink Matrix or similar
Proven work package and team management experiences
Hands-on experience in electrical and schematic design activities
Excellent communication abilities in English
