BTP Solution Advisor SAP Business Technology Platform

What youll do

As a Solution Advisor (SA) you work as an Application Development Automation/AI and Integration expert with the sales teams and customer success managers during the entire Customer Value Journey (Discovery-Select-Adopt & Consume- Extend). You will provide strategic guidance and subject-matter expertise in the design and solutioning of SAPs Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions more specifically SAP Build Apps Process Automation & Workzone/ SAP Integration Suite/ SAP AI Foundation

In the Discovery phaseyou will support mainly clients exploring potential BTPsolutions and help sales teams build pipeline performing key activities such as:

  • Contributing to Account or Territory Pipeline Planning
  • Supporting One-to-Few Events& One-to-Many eventsby delivering customer-facing presentations digital assets and demos/hackathons about SAPs Build or Integration Suite and AI Foundation portfolio.
  • Performing Account-Specific Discoveryusing customer interviews workshops and vigorous dry-runs
  • Contributing to successful Opportunity Qualification

During the Select phase you will support clients building their clean core strategy vision using key activities such as:

  • Defining and driving long-term roadmapsfor full business transformation including value definition and delivery.
  • Ensuring the selected Build & AI solutions address customer pain points and support their strategic vision.
  • Facilitating a smooth transitionto the implementation and adoption phases.

While your primary focus remains on driving new cloud license sales a dedicated % will be allocated to post-sales support activities within the Adopt & Consume phaseof the Customer Value Journey. Key Activities in this phase can be:

  • Post-Sales Transition: Facilitating knowledge transfer between sales and implementation/onboarding teams ensuring continuity and alignment with customer goals. This includes internal meetings to share key information like sales assets customer objectives and contact details.
  • Solution Clarification Demos and Presentations: Re-engaging customers to reinforce the value and functionality of purchased Build Suite and AI solutions addressing the needs of new stakeholders clarifying the impact of de-scoping decisions and addressing potential shelfware situations.

During the Extend phaseyou will focus on prioritizing innovation and growth within existing customer accounts. You will handle key activities such as:

  • Upsell/Cross-sell Identification: you act as a consultant to the sales team drawing on your knowledge of the account to pinpoint upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Solution Expertise: you re-engage with customers delivering solution overviews and demonstrations drawing upon previous sales engagement experiences with the client.

What youll bring

Required:

  • Minimum level of required education: Bachelors Degree Computer/IT Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Solution Advisor/presales Consultant or similar role in the SAP ecosystem.
  • 2 years of App Development Low Code/ No Code development tools RPA Integration and AI solutions selling experience in competitors space
  • Proven track record of presenting/ story telling and demonstrating cloud software solutions
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Bi-lingual (English and Dutch or French)

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP Build Apps SAP Build Process Automation SAP Build Workzone SAP AI services/ AI core and SAP AI Launchpad and/or SAP Integration Suite
  • Familiar with CI/CD Security & Automation/ Container&Cloud (Cloudfoundry Docker/Kubernetes...)
  • Familiar with AI/ML Frameworks (Tensorflow PyTorch and related ML Libraries)
  • Familiar with RPA technologies such as UiPath
  • Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud)
  • Passion and energy in all customer interactions
  • Ability to drive opportunities in collaboration with Account Executive Sales Specialists Customer Success Managers and Partner Business Managers
