Job Description
Overview
St. Johns Regionl Medical Center is a 265bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around Oxnard/California. We are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 139 hospitals and more than 1000 care sites across 21 states making our services accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents.
Responsibilities
- Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients
- Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
- Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity
- Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients teammates and yourself.
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting calibrating and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification
- Minimum of three (3)years experience as a staff technologist
- ARRT certification in Mammography Computed Tomography Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI andmust spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialty.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles protocols techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty.
