Job Description
Staff Management Group is seeking a Packaging Operator for our client in East Windsor NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule
- 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM OR...
- 2nd Shift: 4PM - 12:30AM
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate
- $16 / hour
Job Summary
The Packaging Operator is responsible for blending pharmaceuticals including packing & lifting up to 30lbs.
Job Responsibilities
- Blend pharmaceutical products according to precise formulation and batch instructions.
- Package medications and supplements in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Label seal and inspect packaged products for accuracy cleanliness and consistency.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs as part of routine production tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to meet GMP and safety requirements.
- Perform in-process quality checks and report any discrepancies or product issues.
- Assist with material staging replenishment and batch preparation as needed.
- Complete production documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to FDA and cGMP regulations.
Job Requirements
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- Previous experience in packaging or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanroom protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions precisely.
