Job Description
Volunteer Position: Lunch Duty Helper

Summary:
Were seeking a helpful and reliable volunteer to assist with lunch service for our program participants. This role includes heating up meals opening food containers and supporting a smooth respectful lunchtime experience. Youll be working closely with our PDI team and interacting with the individuals in our program.
Location: Pueblo Diversified Industries
Time Commitment: Typically 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Environment: Work alongside the PDI staff and Individuals in the Program
Supervision: Independent work (minimal supervision)
Responsibilities:
Heat and serve pre-prepared lunches (microwave use required)
Open containers or packaging as needed for participants
Maintain a clean and organized lunch area
Engage respectfully and patiently with individuals in the program
Collaborate with staff to ensure everyone is supported
Friendly patient and comfortable working with adults with disabilities
Basic comfort with kitchen equipment like microwaves
Willingness to follow food safety guidelines and staff direction
Dependable and supportive team player
