The Role
As a Maintenance Technician youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. Working on the Skynet contract as an active member of the Maintenance and Support team.
Day-to-day youll proactively working to ensure capabilities are maintained through both preventive and reactive maintenance.
Whilst performing scheduled maintenance tasks supporting both Through Life Support and new works. You need to be able to adapt and learn as we drive a culture that embraces continuous improvements.
- Working to a planned timetable including inspecting monitoring and reporting on the condition of M&E assets.
- Work in line with the company Health and Safety policies.
- Work in conjunction with the Operations and Installation and Maintenance teams.
- Following safe working in line with the sites radiation policy.
- Escalating failures in line with departmental reporting expectations.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.
This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based on site at Oakhanger Bordon Hampshire.
Essential Experience of the Maintenance Technician
- Good organisational skills ability to prioritise.
- Experience of working to safety procedures.
- Good understanding of COSHH regulations.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician
- Minimum NVQ3/C&G Level 3 diploma in Engineering
- A full UK driving licence.
