Amazon Web Services is seeking an Account Executive to support our US Space Force Customer.
In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a growing business for the USSF. Your responsibilities will include establishing building and managing the growth of programs and pursuits in a high-profile account. This will include developing overall business strategies collaborating across AWS and engaging with customers and prime contractors to influence and accelerate adoption.
The role requires a professional who is experienced in space and space acquisitions opportunity management business development partner engagement and capture activities for programs across the USSF. The ideal candidate will have (1) expertise operating in entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environments (2) the ability to translate customer requirements into technology solutions and (3) past performance leading DoD or IC programs. Candidates should have an understanding of the the DoD/IC community infrastructures policies and operational performance requirements.
Key job responsibilities * Meet regularly with USSF executives PEOs Material Leaders and Mission Owners to understand their mission requirements. * Drive revenue and market share in a defined USSF Territory * Accelerate customer adoption and customer satisfaction * Maintain a robust sales pipeline * Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption * Develop long-term strategic relationships
This position is based in Denver CO.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

- 5 years of full sales cycle technology sales or equivalent business development sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience - Bachelors degree or equivalent - Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software - Experience in engineering computer science or MIS - Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent
