Job Description
Eurpac Marketing Retail and Logistics Group a division of EURPAC Services Inc. has over 60 years of proven success representation consumer packaged goods (CGP) within the complex Military Resale Channel. Providing comprehensive sales and marketing service solutions to our clients. Our process and proprietary technology are designed to deliver success in this unique retail channel. We are looking for a Category Manager in Richmond Virginia or Prince George Virginia to join our team!
Principle Responsibilities:
- Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship in the day-to-day activities of Business Managers working independently.
- Run and analyze market information (i.e. Nielsen Circana) with ability to draw conclusions
- Use data analytics to forecast quantities to meet demand of promotional events.
- Track Presentations and Category Reviews submitted to Military Exchange headquarters and DeCA analyzing final results for future presentations and planning.
- Provide Planogram support client presentations using both JDA and RELEX.
- Work with DeCA category managers for final planograms following category reviews.
- Perform ad hoc requests for business manager as deemed necessary for service to client and customer.
- Update monthly forecast reports with sales and revenue metrics.
- Monthly syndicated data analysis of assigned categories and manufacturer businesses.
- Measure in store manufacturer specific display compliance.
- Gap Reports/New Item Speed to Shelf tracking and follow-up.
- Special projects and other tasks that may be assigned as needed.
- Manage performance with the creation and updating of a client specific scorecard.
Skills and Knowledge:
Well developed Interpersonal skills organized multi-tasked team player creative sense of urgency Excel Word Power Point Outlook Internet Explorer Accurate Data Entry Skills.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree
- 4 year college degree preferred
- 5 years of related experience in a similar capacity
