Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Predictive & Descriptive Analytics

Responsibilities:

Advanced Analytics (AI/ML/ GEN AI):

Experience of Applying advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques to solve complex business problems and create value for Genpact clients.

Leverage statistical and machine learning techniques to build AI/ML Models/ Predictive Models to extract actionable insights from client data.

Data Analysis: Analyze workforce data to identify trends patterns and areas for improvement providing actionable insights to management.

Forecasting: Utilize historical data and predictive analytics to create accurate forecasts for workforce needs considering seasonal variations and business trends.

Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on workforce metrics including adherence utilization and performance to stakeholders

Provide Thought Leadership: Lead diverse projects including consulting assessment and analytics initiatives offering expert guidance throughout.

Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Manage cross-functional teams in executing analytics and digital projects overseeing milestones resource allocation and project progress.

Stay Industry-Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics and digital transformation providing strategic insights and guidance.

Drive Organizational Change: Promote the adoption of analytics and digital capabilities within the aligned span / unit supporting change management efforts and training initiatives.

Expand Digital Offerings: Partner with existing Operations teams to enhance and extend digital and analytics solutions for both current customers and prospects

Expert knowledge of PowerBI will be required. Good understanding of Power Apps Power Automate Gateways and Data Flows

SQL expertise required. Requires advanced understanding of data modeling table relationships and query optimization. Skilled in merging data from multiple disparate sources.

Python/R knowledge for integration with PowerBI / Tableau is good to have

Prior experience of migrating from various Reporting tools (Tableau Clic etc.) to Power BI is required

Good to have Understanding of Designing and implementing state of the art Large Language Model (LLM) based agents that seamlessly synthesize complex information and initiate important actions in a business workflow.

Using advanced Generative AI techniques deriving actionable insights from structured/unstructured data.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Educational Background: B.E/ or Masters

Key Skills: Strong understanding of Machine Learning lifecycle - feature engineering training validation scaling deployment scoring monitoring and feedback loop.

Experience in using machine learning techniques such as regression classification clustering natural language processing computer vision etc.

Experience in data science methodologies as applied to live initiatives or software development

In-depth knowledge in following data science domains:

Machine Learning and statistical techniques

Data mining and recommendation systems

Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval

Experience working with large volumes of data

User behavior modeling

Text Analysis and Natural Language Processing

Neural Networks and Deep Learning

Signal Processing Image/Video processing and recognition

Reinforcement Learning

Proficiency in Python R SQL and other programming languages and tools for data analysis and machine learning

Stronghold on Visualization tool libraries in Python like matplotlib seaborn.

Experience in designing developing and deploying scalable and robust data products using cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud

Comfortable with Prompt Engineering and working with LLMs

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Data Transformations and Workforce Management trends in Financial Services preferably in Insurance vertical.

Proven Experience (Leadership in Digital Transformation): Proven experience in leading large-scale digital transformation programs that integrate technology business strategy data and emerging technologies.

Strategic and Technical Expertise: Significant role in strategy development and execution with expertise in digital technologies such as Data Analytics Artificial Intelligence (AI / Gen AI) and Automation.

Hands on Analytics/AI expert with experience in delivering Analytics projects in the financial services domain involving large and complex data sets

Master data storyteller with an ability to identify needles in the haystack and use Data Intelligence to draw actionable insights and make persuasive recommendations to senior stakeholders across different lines of business

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills with a track record of successfully engaging clients and stakeholders across the organization. Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and driving change in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

LSS- GB certification

PMP certifications

Experience:

experience in US Insurance/Financial Services industry.

experience in leadership roles
